Simon is a sound and video artist living in Cologne, whose current interests include sound art, field recording, DIY analog instruments and the connections between electroacoustics, noise, improvisation, industrial, extreme music, film and video and leftfield sciences. Ten of his video works are distributed by intermedia art institute (imai) Düsseldorf and are presented on festivals around the world. The sound art and performance duo, "LES ÉCLAIRS" ( founded together with Freya Hattenberger ) is performing  on several places on the planet. MA of Art at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. Cofounder of OPEKTA ATELIERS COLOGNE, artist association. Curator of the Sound Art programm of the Museum Ostwall Dortmund, Germany, 2011-2012 Sound perfomance solo project "i am jeff", performing on several places.
